I purchased my first Single Lens Reflex camera in 1989  for a trip to the orient. That journey ignited my love for travel photography. My travels to date include South America, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Malaysia, Hawaii,  the Caribbean islands and several of the US National Parks. During each trip I have tried to capture the essence of what I experienced.

While I enjoy travel photography, my connection with nature, and the beauty therein,  has always taken me to the places of quiet repose...flowers, animals, landscapes.

Recently I discovered the beauty inherent in form and structure. The symmetry found in the most asymmetrical objects conveys a sense of balance and wonder.

It is my hope that you will enjoy your travels with me. The sojourn is about opening to the beauty in all elements of life. I hope I have been able to capture a bit of that through my photographs.
